Can you believe this????

I took this picture with my cell phone of what I saw today...

I went to Wal-Mart for a few things. I expected a lot of people and I expected long lines. But I did not expect to see Valentine Candy taking up three fourths of the candy aisle the day after Christmas!

Have you seen anything unexpected or interesting this season?

Blessings in Christ--

I saw the same thing--it really is consumerism taken one step too far. Can anybody breathe for a day before we go on? I was out buying organizing things. How about you? Hope your Christmas was most blessed! Love you, annie

That is crazy!!! Whatever brings in the money - they're on it! And they know we'll buy it too

Thanks for checking up on me - you are so kind. I am not worse today - so that is fantastic! I usually get a good "icky" 1 or 2 times a year - so I'm due for one I guess =)

Hope you're doing well! Did you cave in and buy any conversation hearts? I love those!

Love - Tam

I'm glad you're not worse today!

Nope!! I refused to buy Valentine candy with Christmas money!!

Besides, I have plenty of Christmas candy, cookies and pies left.

It's just as bad that as soon as halloween stuff is taken up, some thanksgiving stuff is put out, but twice as much Christmas stuff is put out. I guess now they need as much valentine money. Get people thinking about the next holiday. It would be nice to be able to revel in one before being yanked into the next. Love to you and Merry Christmas! Glad to hear your holiday was blessed. Ours was too! Love you, Karen

I saw this in Target today and about died!! I mean really. I can't stand that feeling of "rushing" everything. No wonder we all feel stressed! We are pressured everywhere. Anyway, i'm thinking on the book meme...ya see, i must confess, i'm not much of a reader. I do my Bible study homework and read my most favorite book of all....but, books...well, thats a different story. I did read Blue Like Jazz, and Get out of that Pit and some others....it'll be hard...but, i'll give it a try. :)

Love, Fran

oh man, I saw that last night when I was on a midnight run for cupcake ingredients. Sheesh. And won't all that candy go bad before Valentines? Wild.
