Grace, Grace

2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

“The other evening I was riding home after a heavy day's work. I felt wearied and sore depressed, when swiftly and suddenly that text came to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for thee.' I reached home and looked it up in the original, and at last it came to me in this way. ‘My grace is sufficient for THEE.' And I said, ‘I should think it is, Lord,' and I burst out laughing. I never understood what the holy laughter of Abraham was till then. It seemed to make unbelief so absurd...O brethren, be great believers . Little faith will bring your souls to heaven, but great faith will bring heaven to your souls.[1]

It's wonderful to know that our Lord is the Lord of abundance. His grace is so sufficient for us, we have no idea until we actually experience that feeling.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for a great reminder, dear friend! This came at such the right time. He and His grace are enough for me, they should be all I need. Have a week day. Blessings.

Crack me up! I am such a horrible proof reader. I didn't mean have a "week day"! I meant "Have an awesome day!" I must have been thinking about the weekend ahead. Who knows what rolls around in this brain of mine? Sorry --

Yes Grace Grace, I know and understand it ,and I am so glad that by Grace I was saved, from my mormon back ground they don't teach that, they think you get to heaven by works, and it is so sad I have family members that I pray for all they time think they have to be good enough to get to Heaven... It is sad becuase they are never good enough, they only need to ask, and by his Grace he will adobt them in to the Family of Christ... I weep at the thought...
